Abstract

This paper presents an in-depth investigation into the multifaceted and nuanced pragmatic implications arising from the behavioral patterns observed in the actions and rhetoric of Vladimir Putin, the esteemed President of the Russian Federation. Utilizing an interdisciplinary approach drawing from the rich theoretical framework of pragmatics, this study embarks on a comprehensive exploration of the intricate communicative strategies adopted by Putin across various contexts. By meticulously analyzing a diverse array of sources, including but not limited to speeches, public addresses, and diplomatic engagements, this research endeavors to unveil the underlying motives and intricate rhetorical techniques that underpin Putin's conduct. Moreover, this study extends its purview beyond mere discourse analysis to scrutinize the broader repercussions of Putin's pragmatic choices on both the domestic political landscape of Russia and its intricate relationships with other nations on the global stage. Through a nuanced examination of Putin's behavioral phenomena within a pragmatic framework, this paper not only enhances our comprehension of the complexities inherent in contemporary geopolitics but also offers valuable insights into the intricate interplay between language, power dynamics, and diplomacy in the modern era.
